Gear Works Productions presents the 12th Annual 12 Hours of Bradbury Mountain-- A mountain bike relay race and festival focusing on cozy team-oriented competition while enjoying a seven plus mile race course of incredible singletrack.
"Everything about the race was perfect. The course was as perfect as it could have been. Easily the most enjoyable time I've had on a mountain bike. The mile markers where a fantastic idea. It was a great help, especially when the sun went down. It was very motivating getting encouragement each time around through the tent. I loved the spectators and the atmosphere throughout the day and into the night." - Chris LaFlamme -
Racers, we plan to open registration for our 13th Annual race on February 15th. Reminder that this year's race is on September 21st. Mark your calendars! A few weeks ago we sent out a survey asking our racers to tell us how we are doing. We received a bunch of positive feedback and feel truly appreciative of our wonderful race community. Highlights from the survey are that you overwhelmingly enjoyed the new chip timing, race course, and pizza options. You have spoken and we will fix the format of the start of the race to limit congestion. We also plan to find you a better quality race shirt or hoodie. Stay tuned.
We've had time to recharge and reflection on an epic 2018 Bradbury 12. Now we move on and begin our planning of the 13th Annual 12 Hours of Bradbury Mountian. This year's event will be held on September 21st. Mark your calendars! Look for registration to open on Bikereg by the end of January.
Another successful race is in the books! The 12th running of this historic race came with many changes from new race directors to chip timing to wood-fired pizzas. We hope you all had a blast. Special thanks goes to LL Bean for providing mechanical coverage and supporting sponsors Gorham Savings Bank and Chiropractic Clinic of Gorham.
Excited to announce that Chiropractic Clinic of Gorham as a 2018 race sponsor. CCG has been providing chiropractic and rehab services to the people of Greater Portland for over 12 years. They specialize in active and sports related care for the spine and extremities with focus on functional rehab.
This year's food option will be wood-fired pizza! That's right, we'll have two portable 800 degree ovens on site turning out pies. Still working out the details but count on 3 or 4 pizza options with a side salad for our racers and spectators.
