Dependable volunteers are the key to an excellent event. Volunteers receive a staff T-Shirt and meal for contributing their time to the race. Schools, organizations, or youth groups in need of community service please follow the link below to inquire about volunteering. We will always have something that needs to be done!

"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. Bikers went fast. And they went slow. There was a cacophony of "old man noises" heard after about 8 p.m. And it wasn't pretty. I imagine it was much like backstage after a Rolling Stones concert, with less groupies. 83 people showed up for the first race in 2007! How incredible is that? Really shows that Casco Bay Sports identified a niche, a strong market need. Well done. The torches, fire and string trio were classy touches, as were the nicely etched beer mugs for 1st places." - Matt Wick-
The race course will take place entirely on the awesome singletrack network located on the East side of Route 9. The course is fast with some steep climbs, fun downhills, and technical sections mixed in.
Venue Camping Process
1) Campsites in the campground itself are available on a first come first served basis for the night prior to and night of the race. The Park campground has over 30 sites. If you are coming from out of state, we recommend arriving the night before the event to secure a site.
Please do not call to try and reserve a site as the State does not take reservations this time of year.
2) If the campground if full, overflow camping is available in the field on the Park Side of Route 9. Enter the park and drive to the upper parking lot. Tents are allowed on the field closest to the parking lot. The fee for camping here is $4 per person. The gate to the park will be open until 10:00. There will be TWO firepits in the field for all to share. Firewood will be available for purchase at the park.
Everyone will have a place to camp! - whether you tag a site OR camp in the field.
3) RV's & Trailers: Can be placed in the Campground at campsites on a first come first serve bases. RV's & Trailers are not allowed in the Field. There are several RV Parks with Hookups within 5 miles of the venue.
Day Use Equipment Drop - No Camping or sharing sites with friends
SOLO & Two Person Teams: Specific space along race course available - pull into campground and wait to be directed by staff. Efficiently drop off items - coolers, chairs, etc. (no EZ-Ups - it is heavily shaded and venue EZ-UPs are already in place) then move cars to Lower Parking Lot or along Route 9.
Please Note: If you are a two person team and want MORE space for your things - please use the Field.
3 & Four Person Teams: Please make use of space in the field - parking available along Route 9 adjacent to field for drop off
